US Edition
Dear Readers,
The dog days of summer are behind us now. Autumn is here. Like the spring, the season of falling leaves heralds all sorts of new beginnings. School starts, those new clothes and books bought with anticipation and glee. Fires begin to crackle in homes everywhere and thoughts turn to the coming holiday season. And all the wonderful eating and drinking that goes with it, of course.
I can’t think of a better time to bring this second installment of the Ballinacroagh series to your doorsteps. I know you will all love this new book as much as I do.
Rosewater and Soda Bread opens up in the autumn, a year and a half after we first met the beautiful Aminpour sisters. There is romance in the air for Marjan, a spiritual awakening for our middle sister Bahar, and young Layla’s (somewhat racy) initiation into adulthood. They never cease to surprise me, these girls.
The same goes for the hilarious inhabitants of Ballinacroagh. Those Irish wits and smiles continue to fly about, all in the shadows of that mountain, that magical Croagh Patrick.
Here’s to all of us finding our own personal Ballinacroagh!
Lots of love,
Marsha
